Door of Hope Banquet

During and following the COVID pandemic Susan has continued to play her harp throughout the Greater Rochester area for weddings, special events, and organizational programs.

As an example, she was recently asked to play for an evening banquet to support a local charity missions group and arrived at the historic Roger Robach Community Center at Ontario Beach Park on Beach Avenue in time to tour the delightfully renovated facility and set up for the event.

Our friend Bob Puff was there to manage the audiovisual effects and assisted Susan with hooking up her mike to his amplification system so the music of her harp would gracefully fill the large banquet space without overpowering the gathering. Soon the venue began to fill up with people and a gracious mix of classical and Christmas music. A delicious dinner was served, followed by speakers and an opportunity to support the mission. The entire evening was a blessing to all who attended, and the next day Susan received the following commendation:

Thank you so much for your beautiful contribution of playing your harp last night. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Your music was beautiful, as usual, and I am so appreciative of your time. I pray blessings upon you and your family today and always 🙏🏼.
